Pianist and Vocalist
As a pianist, Diana is comfortable playing in many different styles for a wide variety of events and performance situations. She is a staff accompanist for the Chicago Children’s Choir, and she regularly improvises music for the Uptown Poetry Slam at the Green Mill as well as the improv-competition troupe, ComedySportz. A classically-trained vocalist and member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Diana is also the lead singer for the Balkan/Klezmer band, Balkano, as well as her own band, Diana & the Dishes. Diana is also an accomplished singer/pianist, often performing at clubs, events, and with her band.
