And if that wasn’t exciting enough, a tour is in the works with fantastic singer/songwriter and fiddle-player, Phoebe Hunt. Some tour dates are already posted on the shows page, and more dates are forthcoming.

Diana Lawrence and Phoebe Hunt are thrilled to be touring together this summer to celebrate the releases of their solo EPs. Hunt and Lawrence met in 2010 at the prestigious Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project, and have been looking for a way to work together ever since. This tour marks their first collaboration.

Hailing from Austin, TX, Phoebe Hunt is a gifted songwriter and a versatile musician. Her sultry voice and sincere lyrics cut through to the soul almost instantaneously, while she accents virtually any style of song with her fiddle. She has toured the country for the past 7 years with The Hudsons, The Belleville Outfit and Ben Sollee, garnering her own unique style. Working with Producer Matt Rollings on her introductory solo EP, released in March of 2012 has showcased her versatility as she begins a new journey. Her music ranges from intimate to playful, innocent to seductive, but above all, honest. “If the femme fatales of film noir sang their lines, they’d probably sound like (Phoebe) Hunt, but less playful.” – ACL Review, The Austinist
